Idea #26 - Mood Sharing

What:  Much like that of the trend of the "like" button, I propose a new button of sort of a mood rater.  I saw an article on moods based off of twitter stats here, and it made me think...what if we could measure the moods of people based on what they give us.  What if we could see how they feel when they make a certain statement, or how they react to a given comment.  The more data we have, the better we can analyze what's happening around us.

Idea #24 - Bored, and Free to Hack

What: Come and go application to donate your services to a project (small or large)

How: Web app or mobile app, where you can post "Available" and requests will come in for help in certain areas.  You can also post what you need help on, and others will join in the project.

Idea #23 - Keylogger Evasion

What: A way to setup a key typing proxy in which all data is sent to some middle device that converts text through a cipher, and then will get passed to the keylogger (if there is one on your system).  Afterwards, when displaying on your screen, the program will convert the cipher text back to legitimate text as if nothing happened in the background. You'll see what you want, but the proxy will get bad data.

Idea #22 - Autotext

What: Auto text your friends when it reaches a certain point of no-contact. Could remind you to call certain individuals, or if you're in the new age of 0 phone calls, it could just do the texting part with pre-programmed "random" text messages to get the conversation flowing.

Why: Randomness, might be fun and could save friendships that go without communication.

Idea #21 - Site Color Diagnosis

What: Application to find all colors used on a site and compare them to color charts for consistency

Why: I've dealt with too many sites that don't use consistent design methodologies, and it would be nice to quickly grab every color they use in their CSS and see the outliers in the scheme.

Idea #20 - Video Shazam

What: Think shazam (music identifier), only with videos.

How: take a short video capture with your mobile device, and upload it to the server to process and figure out which movie it is.

Idea #19 - Read Images

What: A way to read an article with images instead of text.

Why: Picture someone who doesn't understand a language, or a child who wants to understand something, and may not know some of the nouns or verbs in a sentence.

How: Search an article text for nouns and verbs, grab images from a database or search engine and substitute the word for the image.

This would be a whole new way to view an article.  It could also incorporate sounds / video.

Idea #18 - Gui Hash

What: Run a hashing algorithm on your GUI to view changes to it later

How: Possibly grab all pixels on the screen and change them to text and run a hash on that

Idea #17 - Public to private address routing

What: I know what you're thinking if you have any concept of networking...I mean NAT.  No, I mean a way for someone to type 136.224.182.192:192.168.1.1  to reach the default gateway for that subnet.  It would save administrators (mostly home network users) time instead of setting up a port forward.

How: Not sure, there are smarter people out there that would design it, I'm just coming up with the ideas.  We may not even need this with IPv6, but I feel it might be a good concept.
